Chief Executive Officer

Mark Schlussel is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School. He has an extensive background in healthcare law and has served on the Board of Directors of numerous companies. Mr. Schlussel gained significant operational healthcare experience as the CEO of the Oakland Virtual Medical Center. Most recently, he was elected to serve as Chairman of the Oakland University Board of Trustees. Mark is a “hands on” CEO at TLC.

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Stuart Rosenthal is a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and a Diplomat (Emeritus) of the American College of Rheumatologists. Dr. Rosenthal is now retired from over 35 years of private practice in Houston, Texas, and a professorship at the University of Texas Medical School. Dr. Rosenthal brings his medical experience to our TLC team.

Chief Operating Officer

Randall Thomas has an extensive background as President and CEO in start-up companies. He has expertise in management and operations. Mr. Thomas grew his most recent start-up business to a point where it was successfully acquired by an international company. Randy’s involvement with Total Life Concierge from “behind the scenes” serves as the foundation to our operational success.

Leslie Viegas retired as Executive Vice-President of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan where he managed multiple Blue Cross divisions in his 17 year career. He ran the $5 billion National Business Unit and was responsible for all operations, including marketing and IT. Les understands the “business” of healthcare. He is instrumental in keeping TLC well versed in the changes in the healthcare insurance landscape adding great value for our Members.

Medical Director

Dr. Robert Kelman is a graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and holds licenses to practice medicine in Michigan, Florida, and New York. Dr. Kelman is a founding Member and Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. As Medical Director of TLC, Dr. Kelman consults with Members to understand their lifestyle and healthcare needs and is accessible as medical situations arise to manage the complexities of facilitating care.

Personal Health Concierge

Susan Steinberg is a graduate of the University of Michigan. She has an extensive background in healthcare management, working as Director of Client Services in Michigan and Florida, and as Director of Community and Public Relations. Susie is the liaison between our Members, the TLC medical team and all of our providers who collectively work to provide excellence in your healthcare.

Advisor/Member

Herschel Block has an extensive background in hospital management including serving as the Chief Operating Officer of a hospital facility owned by Hospital Corporation of America. He served in strategic facility planning for a major architectural firm and as a senior consultant for a big four accounting firm. He acquired experience in operating efficiencies and reducing service and delivery costs in healthcare. Herschel’s skills in marketplace trends and the customization of service to achieve optimal efficiency and effectiveness will help bring the best quality of care to TLC’s Members.

Mr. Connor has 35 plus years of Information, Image and Data management experience within the healthcare sector. He is one of the founders of Affiliated Computer Services and currently serves on the Boards of IOD Incorporated in Green Bay Wisconsin and IBML in Birmingham, Alabama

Registered Pharmacist

Myron (Mike) Winkelman is a Registered Pharmacist and a graduate of Wayne State University. He is a widely recognized expert on pharmacy and pharmacy benefit issues. Mike has managed a number of multi-state “bulk-purchasing” initiatives, yielding millions of dollars in savings. He also served for many years as a senior chain drug store executive, with responsibilities in purchasing, insurance programs, operations and government affairs. Mr. Winkelman leads the clinical pharmacy for TLC members.

Registered Dietitian

Julie Feldman is a nationally recognized nutrition expert who helps individuals live a healthier life. With her realistic approach, she passionately motivates people of all ages to focus their nutritional needs on maximizing their wellness within the parameters of their own lifestyle. Julie has been featured numerous times on television news and comments nationally on behalf of several corporations and products including the Coca Cola Corporation and Mead Johnson Nutritionals. She has published several articles and authored the book, Grocery Makeover: Small Changes for Big Results. Julie is available to help TLC Members make living healthy delicious.
